Aims and Scope
Acute and Critical Care (abbreviated as Acute Crit Care, ACC) is a peer reviewed scientific journal that provides current works and ideas in critical and intensive care medicine. It informs clinical and experimental results and evidences for all critical care physicians, critical care nurses, and other healthcare professionals and improves the care of critically ill patients. It is a medium dedicated to basic, experimental, translational research and also clinical studies relating to all fields of critical illness. It publishes journals quarterly. All or part of the Journal is indexed by KCI (Korea Citation Index), KoreaMed, KoMCI (Korean Medical Citation Index), Directory of Open Access Journals, EBSCO, DOI, Google Scholar, NRF (National Research Foundation of Korea), ScienceCentral, and also can be downloaded in homepage of the Korean Society of Critical Care Medicine (http://www.ksccm.org) and the journal site (http://accjournal.org or http://acuteandcriticalcare.org).
Acute and Critical Care (abbreviated as Acute Crit Care) is the official publication of the Korean Society of Critical Care Medicine (KSCCM) founded in 1980. The journal (Taehan Kugup Ŭihakhoe chi ISSN 1229-4802) was first published in 1986. Articles were written in Korean and English until 2013. From 2014, it continues to publish articles in English. From 2018, name of the official publication of KSCCM changes from Korean Journal of Critical Care Medicine (? ~ 2017) to Acute and Critical Care (Acute Crit Care, ACC, 2018 ~).
